25% extra for Charities

The Lump Sum Donation Scheme allows charities to claim an additional 25p on every £1, if they receive a donation worth £50 or more from a donor who lives in Jersey and pays income tax.

Previously a paper-based system, donors can now go online to donate. Any charity wishing to benefit will need to have an online donation webpage enabled. They can register for the scheme by emailing Revenue Jersey (jerseytax@gov.je) confirming their charity tax identification number, and their Jersey Registered Charity Number.
